Our annual rummage was a huge success and we want to thank every volunteer, business and helper who contributed to our success. THANK YOU to Quicksigns for our wonderful banner, we are so grateful! Thank you to all who sponsored our tents and tables as this is a huge cost for us and that allows all monies to go directly to the care of our cats. We are glad to announce we raised $12,000 at this rummage which makes this our most profitable event so far. With kitten season upon us, some very ill felines in our care and the constant battle against the current state of the economy, this money is much needed and we couldn’t be more pleased!

Good Bye Ziek, We love you!

To all who love your animals and help give love to the ones at the shelter until they find homes, it is with sad news and a very heavy heart that we must inform you that Ziek, our beloved shelter cat of over 5 years is no longer with us. He is in a better place now with lots of sunrooms and all the cheeseburgers he can eat. He will truly be missed as he touched many of our lives. Thank you to all who cared for him and constantly brought ”special treats” just for him. We were personally with him and gave him hugs and kisses on behalf of everyone.
